Ian Kirwan is a hands-on finance leader with experience spanning FP&A, M&A and transaction due diligence, financial reporting, and operational finance. Known for pairing strong accounting fundamentals with a forward-looking, strategic approach, Ian owns the accounting function end-to-end and partners directly with executive leadership on planning, performance reporting, and value creation.
Throughout his career, Ian has operated across a range of industries and ownership models, including private equity–owned and venture-backed environments. He has played a central role in high-stakes transactions on both sides of the table—supporting acquisitions, capital raises, and a company sale to private equity—and has built finance and reporting infrastructure from the ground up in fast-growth settings.
A people-oriented and highly collaborative leader, Ian is recognized for translating complex financial data into clear, decision-ready insights for executives, boards, and investors. He believes reliable numbers and scalable processes are the foundation of confident decision-making, and he brings an approachable, roll-up-your-sleeves style to every team he works with.
Ian holds a BSBA in Accounting from Creighton University’s Heider College of Business, and is currently pursuing his MBA at Creighton.
Outside of work, Ian enjoys cooking, golf, travel, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.
